Can you tell Halloween is our favorite holiday?
Halloween night took us to a family friendly, community, trick or treat street/party in the neighborhood. We had a great time...but didn't quite anticipate that our costumes may not be obvious enough. By that I mean if you didn't see Dave on a daily basis, you might not realize his costume was in fact - a costume. You might just think he is a thug, cruising the Halloween scene, looking for kids to terrorize. Several parents pulled their kids closer as Dave walked by. Finally we realized if Dave actually held Brig people seemed more at ease.
Off topic - note Brig's little hands above. This is his new favorite trick. He always has them together, moving them around each other, like he is plotting a scheme of sorts. He is so cute.
After the neighborhood gathering we headed to a friend's house for a fun party. It was a great night. Only 362 days until the next round of costumes...

That is so funny about people being afraid of Dave! I love the costumes, very creative! Brig looks so cute, I think the style fits him!
That baby is so cute cute cute. I am going to have to stop and kiss and squeeze him on the way home from the temple tomorrow night, when I get back to Colo.
I NEED all my babies in the same state as well as ALL my precious grandkids. New York is WAY too far away.

I love Brig. What an angel, even in his get up. You and Dave don't look too bad either. Although I would have probably pulled my girls a bit closer as you three walked by.
No wonder you are worried about starting work and doing 2 jobs. I think ou should start an AVAYA blog and ask for a raise. You could tack on a 3rd as wardrobe costume consultant, free food research analyst, and deal breaker. I'm just disappointed you didn't add a 4th Halloween post given the extra hour you had on Sunday. Sheesh

why didn't B.R.I.G. get a tatoo (or two)? were you afraid he would suck it off? or maybe poison his brain?
Is there a way I could get B. R. I. G. 's newest album? He looks pretty hardcore. Pretty sure I'd get jiggy with that.
