Picture perfect...almost

All 10 grand kids on Dave's side were together. It was a Christmas parade. There was a firetruck. What a moment to capture. But wait...Brig is strapped to his mom via the baby bjorn. No matter, "Carrie - go ahead and get in the grand kid picture."

So here I am. Trying to hide behind Brig which is difficult seeing as he is about 20 times smaller than me. And then there is the unfortunate bright yellow coat which I happen to be wearing, and is impossible to miss.

I have a feeling I'm going to regret this picture for years. I can just see it framed, hanging over my in-laws mantel.

dude, it must have been cold to bust out the sleeping bag coat! i've been saving mine, for what i don't know. just looking at you in it makes me want to run to the closet and throw mine on. ahhh, warmth.

brig looks so cute!!! he reminds me so much of baby calder and crosby in this picture... with the grey fleece and white hanna hat. why do they have to get big so fast? i'm craving me some baby time.

maybe trav could work some photoshop magic and get you out of the picture. it would look like brig was just floating in mid-air. that would be sweet!

Your posts always make me laugh. And even though I don't know your sisters, I thoroughly enjoy reading their posts too. You girls have real blogging talent!

p.s. You have the third cutest baby in the world (third only to my boys of course). Seriously, he is picture perfect (even strapped to that yellow coat).

giant yellow coat AND uggs!

the uggs are appropriate foot wear here because she is clearly NOT at CHURCH.

anonymous, we all know you are nana.

BTW Anonymous who wrote "Giant yellow coat and uggs" IS NOT WRITTEN by NANA.

Of course I think Uggs are fine for Church, especially on cold snowy days which of course one of my daughters totally disagrees with me. Remember I live in Boulder, Colorado where anything goes!!! Thank heavens!

Seriously. I miss the Colorado dress code. I am now finding myself bying heels.
Brig is killer. I can't wait to squeeze him in that puffy little coat.

Uggs are not exempt from the 'cold' of the Southwest. Seriously, I want to physically assault people who wear uggs during the "winter" months at ASU. Especially when it's accompanied by a huge yellow sleeping bag coat! I guess it is better than their summer fashions.
